Kea began at home. I am a radiologist and a father of two very energetic boys. Like many parents, we kept running into the same problem. We needed a way to hold their attention without handing them a screen. We wanted something to help them grow into men of wonder, wisdom and value.
There are so many wonderful children's books out there. We read plenty of them. But we wanted something that pushes little listeners beyond the shelf and out into the world. The thrill of real discoveries. Natural wonders that sound made up but are not. The science behind the everyday. Why sharing feels good. How a zipper actually works. What a bee is saying when it dances. Why communicating and resilience matter.
Kea is a library of short audio stories for young listeners, told like little documentaries. Every story is true. Every story is checked line by line before it reaches your family. Each one names its sources, so a curious parent can follow the trail.
We are constantly building. We write, check, and curate the very best stories the world (and the universe!) has to offer. The library grows carefully rather than quickly.
We hope your little ones enjoy listening as much as ours do.
From our family to yours.
